Our Sydney home is held at beautiful Kippax Lake, Moore Park which is part of Centennial Parklands.
Parklife acknowledges the Gadigal clan as the traditional custodians of the country on which Centennial Parklands has been constructed.
In 1866 Sydney City Council donated the park as a recreation ground for the public to help alleviate growing pressures for outdoor activities. The area was named Moore Park in 1867 after Charles Moore, Mayor of Sydney City Council 1867-1869. Moore Park held the first polo match in Australia and was also home to Sydney’s first zoo (which included a bear pitt and elephant house!) Moore Park continues to be a destination for entertainment in Sydney and we are proud to call it home for Parklife.
Please respect the culture and heritage of our beautiful venue when you party at Parklife!
