From small beginnings in 2000, PARKLIFE has evolved into a national institution renowned for delivering cutting-edge line-ups of incredible talent from around the globe. In 2007, the PARKLIFE National Tour proved to be the standout success of the calendar year, showcasing what many regarded as one of the most diverse, eclectic and ground-breaking line-ups ever assembled to a combined crowd of over 100,000 people across the country.

We are aware there that while most people had an incredible time, Parklife Melbourne last year wasn’t perfect and as promoters we are committed to giving you the best show possible. We have taken lessons learned last year very seriously and are making changes which will ensure you the best experience possible for Parklife Melbourne 2008.
 
Last year’s capacity was based on a safety sign off recommendation. This year we will be reducing the number of tickets sold by 25%.  There will be also be a new venue layout with new stage positions to open the venue up more and allow for an easier flow through the site giving you more room to move and enjoy the day.
 
There will be no drink ticket system at Parklife Melbourne, which will mean fewer queues and less waiting around for everyone!
 
We are committed to give you the best Parklife experience possible and with the new changes we expect it to be a fantastic day for everyone who comes. With the reduced number of tickets we expect it to sell out quicker than in previous years so be sure not to miss out!
